I am an assistant professor at the Department of Statistics at the University of California, Davis. Prior to that, I was a Research Assistant Professor at the Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago (TTIC), a postdoctoral associate in Wisconsin Institute of Discovery, University of Wiscosnin, Madison, and a postdoctoral associate in MIT. I received my PhD from department of EECS, MIT.
My research interests include machine learning, information theory, statistics, theoretical computer science and applied probability theory.
